What an Excellent Product

A SMILE A DAY

I am glad I came across this little book. I like the idea of inviting children to draw regularly about experiences that made them smile and I find it very useful also for the fact that the children, in this way, have the possibility to elaborate and better understand their emotions, their positive experiences, allowing them to strengthen a positive image of themselves. If children think about and report the events and therefore the beautiful emotions felt in those moments, they acquire self-confidence and a positive approach to facing life. By regularly using the diary, children will learn to linger over every lived experience and find the bright side that it brings. This also contributes to tolerating frustration and activating resilience. Since the pandemic, children and especially teenagers have had difficulty seeing and believing in the beautiful things about themselves and life. Using this book also promotes and strengthens writing skills, and teaches them to correctly process and transcribe a thought. It is a product that I see as useful in therapy for children with emotional regulation difficulties, mood disorders, and socio-relational difficulties. What an excellent product: so simple yet so powerful. I would gladly include it in my field. Let’s keep in touch and if possible I will propose it.
